Spotlight Kid   'Can't Let Go (This Feeling)'  from "Departure" out 25.09.06  Claub AC30 The Killers   'When You Where Young' new cd single out 18.09.06 on Mercury/Universal A return with a different sound style. Very 80's rock sound. Kinda Meat Loaf meet Bruce Springsteen. So, the guys are leaving behind their 'electro rock' to dive into the 80's rock which is fine with me. I love this track. Fresh and, at the same time, retro. Flood and Moulder have done a brilliant job, but how's going to sound the whole new album? Uhmmmm!!! The Bronx   'Dirty Leaves'  from "The Bronx"  Wichita Recordings. That's a real punk rock album from the guts of Brooklyn NYC.  Great stuff guys!! Drips   'Broken'  from "Drips" White Drug/Wichita Recordings . This supergroup from LA bring together the most amazing and well compact rock sound,  bringing the best of both world: rock'n'country that is... Stone Sour   'First Person'  from "Come What(ever)May"  RoadRunnerRecords Interview with the guys will be broadcasted August 8th, 2006 on Radio Onde Frulane. August 19th, 2006 will be broadcasted on Radio Capodistria. Giddy Motors   'Nego'  from "Do Easy" out 21.8.06 Fat Cat Blood On The Wall in session   'Reunite On Ice' / 'Dead Edge Of Town' (Thanx Marcus!!) The Killers   'When You Where Young' new cd single out 18.09.06 Mercury/Universal Raconteurs    'Together'  from  "Broken Boy Soldier"  XL Recordings The Victorian English Gentlemans Club   'My Son Spells Backward' from  "TVEGC"   28.08.06  Plastic Fantastic Already their first 2 singles had their well deserved airplays on my radio shows. This is their debut album, and it's quite a  wonder. A wonderful melting pot of trashy punk ballads and Sonic Youth layers riffs. One of the best debut of this year!! Jay Bennett   'Overexcuser' from "The Magnificient Defeat"  out 25.09.06 on Rykodisc.  Being an ex Wilco "Sonic Mastermind", Jay is out with his solo album that captures the real nature of his songwriting. Here we have honky-tonky blues and earthly acoustic ballads. At times you find a bit of Costello's kinda voice, but the vein is real Jay. A great ballads debut. God Is An Astronaut   'Forever Lost'  from "A Moment Of Stillness e.p."  out 21.08.06 on Rocket Girl. This is post-rock with the beauty of flowing experimantal landscapes. This Dublin trio is out to be praised by the intelligent masses. Looking forward to play their second work (first on Rocket Girl) "All Is Violent, All Is Bright" out 18 September. The London Apartments   ''Summer Takes All My Time' from  his new EP "Logistics and Navigation"  out this month on Beggars Banquet. Ratatat   'Lex' from "Classics"  XL Recordings/Beggars. Nina Nastasia   'Brad Haunts A Party'  from "On Living" out 11th Sept 2006 on Fat Cat. Xpress 2    'Kill 100'  out 25. 09.06 on Mint Records. That's a very surprising single. I'm not a lover of crappy disco rock whatsoever, but this is quite different. Alt-disco-dance-rock recorded by maestros Diesel and Beedie, and what interesting is that the vocals are by The Music's Rob Harvey. The classic "I Feel Love" is all over. It's summer (summer!?) after all!!!
